exmox GmbH is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a cross-functional product team. You will play a key role in ensuring rapid feature development, high automation, and a great product by tackling challenges holistically across both backend and frontend development.
What You'll Do
- Work in a cross-functional team to combine expertise for rapid feature development, high automation, and product quality.
- Tackle challenges holistically, contributing to both backend and frontend development based on your strengths.
- On the backend: implement API development best practices, integrate and consume REST APIs, collaborate with UX/UI specialists, and ensure efficient back-end processes and distributed systems.
- On the frontend: implement innovative and user-oriented solutions with UX/UI specialists, develop and maintain applications using Vue or Nuxt and a responsive framework, and ensure seamless integration with REST and GraphQL APIs.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent bootcamp experience combined with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- Interest in tackling challenges holistically and extending expertise across both backend and frontend.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Stronger expertise in either backend or frontend development, with a willingness to work across the full stack.
- Good communication skills in English and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Backend proficiency: experience in API development and integration, fluency in Python, and a practical understanding of distributed systems.
- Frontend proficiency: experience with CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, as well as Vue or Nuxt and at least one responsive framework (e.g., Tailwind).
Nice to Have
- Backend familiarity with GraphQL.
- Experience with Go is a plus.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is nice to have.
