TCP Software is hiring a Software Engineer IV - C++/QT

As a Software Engineer IV, you will: Work cooperatively to construct software utilizing contemporary development methodologies and advanced technologies in a cross-functional agile environment with C++ and Qt framework. Design, construct, validate, and document object-oriented embedded systems, firmware, and device-level applications. Produce high-quality code based on unit and automated acceptance testing. Evaluate, establish, analyze, and enhance detailed specifications and implement feature development. Confirm development/integration documentation is sufficient, comprehensive, and published. Contribute to test automation to guarantee rapid, quality product delivery. Engage in code peer-reviews and provide recommendations aligned with best-practice design patterns. Guide junior team members and provide technical leadership. Operate autonomously, establishing priorities and objectives while continuing technical growth and learning. Continuously expanding capabilities and reinforcing independence, developing software, and analyzing complex challenges. Establish and maintain Linux system build root. Manage update pipelines for firmware and operating system releases. Requirements: 4-6 years of relevant C++ experience Qt framework proficiency Linux/Unix operating system expertise Ability to comprehend requirements and resolve technical challenges independently. Serves as Technical Lead. Recognized as an emerging technical leader within the team, often a Team Lead. Physical Requirements: Extended periods seated at a desk working on a computer. Capability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. Zero travel time required.
