This Field Service Technician will conduct commissioning, mechanical, and electrical field service work on Jenbacher Gas Engines, involving troubleshooting, periodic maintenance, and minor overhauls. These engines range from 0.25 to 9.5 MW, operating on natural gas and various alternative gas sources like biogas, landfill gas, coal mine gas, sewage gas, and combustible industrial waste gases. Essential Responsibilities: - Implement service protocols for engine maintenance - Perform minor engine repairs beyond scheduled service - Execute comprehensive engine servicing with colleague collaboration - Coordinate tasks with external specialist providers - Ensure maintenance activities comply with EHS protocols - Diagnose mechanical, electronic, and software system engine failures - Analyze historical engine performance data - Troubleshoot electronic and mechanical engine issues - Document site visit reports detailing interventions and outcomes - Generate comprehensive fault analysis reports - Maintain vehicle spare parts inventory - Work independently or collaboratively - Process administrative documentation promptly - Adhere to safety procedures - Complete additional assigned tasks Qualifications/Requirements: - 4 years reciprocating engine experience preferred - Commissioning background desired - Automotive mechanical/electrical expertise - Technical certification in mechanics/electrical systems - Willingness for on-call rotations - Geographical flexibility in Georgia, Covington area Eligibility Requirements: - 80% travel capability - Valid driver's license - Remote work adaptability - U.S. work authorization - Vehicle insurability Desired Characteristics: - Familiarity with Jenbacher gas/diesel engine Series 6 - Technical procedure implementation skills - Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities - Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities - Customer-centric approach - Effective communication skills - Advanced computer proficiency - PLC knowledge INNIO provides an exceptional work environment, professional growth opportunities, challenging career paths, and competitive compensation.
