CrowdStrike is hiring a Software Engineer III with a front end focus for our Production Services team. In this role, you will design and create tools to enhance automations that deploy and manage our cloud-based infrastructure, playing a key part in architecting a stable yet flexible production environment.

What You'll Do

• Be an energetic self-starter who takes ownership and accountability for deliverables.
• Collaboratively brainstorm, define, and build software solutions.
• Work with internal business partners to analyze needs and craft elegant, robust solutions.
• Raise the team's technical IQ by learning and sharing new technologies.
• Develop architectural and automation strategies as a technical leader.
• Report regularly on the status of critical projects.

What We're Looking For

• Significant professional experience developing front-end applications with a focus on user experience.
• Comprehensive experience with React.js (or similar) and core web concepts (JavaScript/HTML/CSS).
• A desire to collaborate closely with users, designers, and back end engineers.
• Practical experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience working within a large-scale production environment and troubleshooting across teams.
• Demonstrated passion for learning new systems and advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Enthusiastically able to serve as a technical mentor for junior team members.
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to make good, timely decisions.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and automated unit/acceptance tests.
• Skilled using container orchestration systems like Docker or Kubernetes and version control with git.
• A strong focus on security when developing or reviewing code.
• A passion for documentation and improving knowledge transfer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, can-do attitude excelling in both independent and team work.

Nice to Have

• Experience utilizing the Twelve-Factor App methodology.
• Experience with large-scale physical hardware in a data center.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with graphics & data visualization tools like D3, ThreeJS, or ElasticCharts.
• Experience with UI performance measurement and optimization.
• Experience with UI application analytics and metrics.
• Experience utilizing Golang for automation, tooling, dashboards, or alarms.
• Familiar with monitoring tools like Grafana and Alertmanager.
