What You'll Do
Work closely with designers to turn wireframes and mockups into fully functional, responsive web applications. Build and maintain reusable components that ensure consistency and efficiency across projects. Implement new features with a focus on performance, accessibility, and user experience.
Integrate data from REST APIs and other sources to enable dynamic content and interactive functionality. Optimize applications for speed and search engine visibility through asset compression, code splitting, and efficient rendering strategies. Write and maintain comprehensive test suites using Jest and React Testing Library to ensure code reliability.
Lead code reviews, promote frontend standards, and provide technical mentorship to less experienced developers. Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the future of the frontend stack.
Requirements
- Professional experience with ReactJS and Gatsby for building scalable frontend applications
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript, with an emphasis on responsive and accessible design
- Experience connecting frontend applications to REST APIs and managing data flow
- Understanding of web performance principles, including asset optimization and loading strategies
- Proven ability to write and maintain unit tests using frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library
