Design and implement responsive websites and landing pages using modern frontend technologies. Work closely with UI/UX designers and technical leads to deliver high-quality user experiences for the Japan market, focusing on performance, cross-browser compatibility, and code quality.
Responsibilities
- Create clean, well-structured HTML and CSS code for websites and landing pages
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of JavaScript libraries and content management systems
- Build and deploy new websites and landing pages from design mock-ups, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness
- Understand and address common cross-browser compatibility challenges
- Detect performance bottlenecks, bugs, and usability issues, then implement effective fixes for desktop and mobile platforms
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and technical leads to deliver intuitive user interfaces and seamless interaction layers
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management, aligned with the role's scope and supporting the organization's Quality Management System
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification of a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or Master's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS (preferred), Angular, or Vue, along with layout systems like flexbox and grid, responsive design, web performance optimization, API integration, SCSS/LESS, NPM/Yarn, and version control systems
- Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and fluency in the language of the supporting market
Nice to Have
- Ideal candidates will have at least two years of relevant experience, though fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Skills in React Hooks, animation techniques, CSS in JS, Webpack, Gulp, Grunt, Web Storage API, unit testing, Socket IO, CI/CD, and Skeleton are advantageous
- Awareness of current trends in web and mobile technologies
- Additional preference for candidates familiar with Progressive Web Applications (PWA) and Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP)
