ABC Fitness Solutions, LLC (Trainerize) is hiring a Front-End Developer Intern

ABC Fitness Solutions is hiring a Front-End Developer Intern to contribute directly to production initiatives for Trainerize, our fitness technology platform. This remote position is designed for a motivated student to bring fresh thinking and innovation to our engineering team while gaining hands-on experience building real-world features.

What You'll Do

• Design and build web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React.js, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to design, develop, test, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews and assist with pull/merge requests.
• Work with senior developers to break down tasks and provide effort estimates.
• Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation processes.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and back-end services.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Academic or project experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and client-server architecture.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with NPM and modern front-end tooling.
• Exposure to RxJS or reactive programming concepts.
• Experience contributing to team-based software projects (academic, open source, or internships).
