StubHub is on a mission to redefine the live event experience globally. We are looking for a Software Engineer II - AI to lead the development and implementation of AI-driven capabilities across the organization. You will introduce new AI tooling, define and scale best practices, and build custom models that solve real business problems.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement AI tooling and infrastructure to support company-wide AI adoption.
- Develop custom machine learning models tailored to specific business use cases.
- Establish AI/ML best practices, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and requirements.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of AI platforms and technologies.
- Create documentation, training materials, and knowledge-sharing programs.
- Monitor model performance and implement continuous improvement processes.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and industry trends.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning and AI development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with ML Ops tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, DVC).
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in Python and at least one other programming language (R, Java, Scala).
- Strong experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn).
- Knowledge of data engineering tools and practices (Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow).
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their ML services.
- Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
