What You'll Do
Drive research and development in biometrics by identifying promising technical directions and turning them into tangible, validated prototypes. You'll lead exploration efforts from initial concept through to demo delivery, ensuring research aligns with real-world product goals.
Work closely with software engineering teams to transition prototypes into functional demonstrations, maintaining ownership of the machine learning core, evaluation frameworks, and research integrity. Shape strategic priorities by proposing and validating novel approaches to open-ended challenges, especially in areas like palm recognition, face morphing detection, and revocable biometric systems.
Provide technical leadership on key initiatives, set standards for experimentation, and mentor others in rigorous, reproducible ML practices. Your work will directly influence which research paths become long-term investments for the organization.
