Ghr is hiring a Software Engineer II to develop and deliver complex requirements for business goals. You will be part of the core team building the first-of-its-kind Global Markets Digital Asset platform, collaborating closely with Global Markets Business and Platform teams.
What You'll Do
- Code solutions and unit tests to deliver requirements per defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
- Utilize multiple architectural components across data, application, and business layers in design and development.
- Perform Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities.
- Contribute to story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work through the delivery lifecycle.
- Contribute to existing test suites, analyze test reports, identify issues, and triage underlying causes.
- Perform spike/proof of concept work as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
- Design and implement secure, scalable blockchain solutions integrating with Global Markets and enterprise infrastructure.
- Contribute to engineering best practices related to smart contracts.
- Partner closely with Production Support and Engineering teams to deploy and support applications.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language with hands-on experience in application programming, backend API development, and distributed microservices infrastructure.
- Understanding of the cryptographic principles underpinning blockchain technologies.
- Experience with architecture, design, and deployment of production-quality, scalable software.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development principles.
- Experience with container orchestration systems like Kubernetes or Docker.
- Ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences from business stakeholders to developer teams.
- Meticulous and highly organized working style.
- Adaptability to shifting and competing priorities.
- Critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in one or more functional programming languages (e.g., Scala, Haskell).
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Professional or personal experience in DeFi markets.
- 4+ years in similar roles, preferably in the financial industry.
- Higher education in the IT field or relevant previous work experience.

You will be part of the core team building the Global Markets Digital Asset Platform, connecting with various teams and processes including test management, change and release management, and production support.
Benefits & Compensation
- Annualized salary range: $88,800.00 - $144,800.00.
