What You'll Do
Work closely with engineering and finance teams to refine and maintain software systems that power critical financial operations. You'll contribute across the full development lifecycle, building and improving features that support accuracy and efficiency in reconciliation and reporting.
Apply your firsthand accounting knowledge to spot inefficiencies and lead improvements in automated workflows. You'll assess tools, track performance metrics, and help deploy reliable solutions that align with both technical and financial standards.
Requirements
- Background in accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role
- Understanding of financial processes including reconciliation, compliance, and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Go
- Experience developing backend APIs and working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with software development practices, version control (Git), and testing methodologies
Technical Stack
You'll work with modern technologies including Golang, Python, React, and React Native. The infrastructure leverages AWS, Kubernetes, and Amazon Aurora, with monitoring through Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki. Testing at all levels—unit, integration, and end-to-end—is a core part of the development process.
