Precision AQ is looking for a Software Engineer II to build, configure, and deliver client-facing healthcare applications. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution, working collaboratively with product and operations teams.
What You'll Do
- Represent the Application Operations/Development team on all active projects.
- Participate in daily application operations/development stand-up meetings.
- Follow established procedures for change management across applications.
- Document and maintain application operations/development standard operating procedures.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that meets industry standards and best practices.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to API services, databases, and other backend systems.
- Work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to develop and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Support assessments of internal systems and processes, including revisions or re-design where necessary.
- Support technology reviews assessing how common code and technologies can work efficiently across service lines.
- Support continued adoption of cutting-edge technology through new offerings and existing providers.
- Configure and update client-facing applications per requirements gathered by engagement teams, following Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR) guidelines.
- Create WIKI articles for common, repeatable processes to share with others.
- Configure Single Sign On integrations for client builds.
- Support the development of product unit tests for future application regression testing.
- Measure application development key performance indicators (e.g., bug density, sprint analysis, test coverage).
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E.) or in Technology (B. Tech.); degree in computer science or related fields preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in a related field working as a frontend application engineer/developer.
- Strong grasp on GIT fundamentals and experience with day-to-day usage.
- Hands on knowledge of Vue.js, HTML, CSS, d3 & SQL Server.
- Experience with an Agile Development Lifecycle.
- Experience in web application configuration and templating.
- Operational knowledge of Team Foundation Server, or Azure DevOps and Octopus.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment methodologies.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD pipeline tool.
- Experience with the .NET framework.
- Experience with SQL.
- Familiarity with concepts like Modularization.
- Familiarity of Data Structures concepts.
- Working knowledge of US Healthcare / Market Access would be an advantage.
- Experience developing in HIPAA and GDPR compliant ecosystem.
