About the Role

Precision for Medicine is hiring a Software Engineer II to build, configure, and deliver client-facing healthcare applications. You will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and feature development, ensuring all work adheres to Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) guidelines.

What You'll Do

  • Represent the Application Operations/Development team on active projects and participate in daily stand-up meetings.
  • Follow established change management procedures and document standard operating procedures.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that meets industry standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to API services, databases, and other backend systems.
  • Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Support assessments and potential re-design of internal systems and processes.
  • Configure and update client-facing applications per requirements, following MLR guidelines.
  • Create WIKI articles for common, repeatable processes.
  • Configure Single Sign-On integrations for client builds.
  • Support the development of product unit tests for application regression testing.
  • Measure key performance indicators like bug density and test coverage.
  • Work with the Product Team to implement new application enhancements and features.
  • Ensure all changes comply with life-cycle methodology and risk guidelines.
  • Interact with end users, internal teams, development vendors, data analysts, and other engagement team members.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or computer science (preferred).
  • 2-4 years of experience as a frontend application engineer/developer.
  • Strong grasp of GIT fundamentals and day-to-day usage.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Vue.js, HTML, CSS, d3, & SQL Server.
  • Experience with an Agile Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience in web application configuration and templating.
  • Operational knowledge of Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps, or Octopus.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Working knowledge of US Healthcare / Market Access is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Azure hosting components.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 5%.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD pipeline tools.
  • Experience with the .NET framework.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Familiarity with concepts like Modularization and Data Structures.
  • Working knowledge of US Healthcare / Market Access.
  • Experience developing in HIPAA and GDPR compliant ecosystems.

Team & Environment

You will report directly to the Software Engineering Lead of Precision AQ, India. The role involves collaborative work with both product and operations team members.
