Blackpoint Cyber is looking for a Senior Software Engineer Go to join our Endpoint Agent team. In this remote role, you will drive Go development for our cybersecurity Endpoint Agent, which is deployed to customer devices worldwide, within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Deliver business-critical outcomes through contributions to our Go-based endpoint agent cybersecurity platform.
- Develop cloud microservice components using TypeScript and Go.
- Apply deep understanding of design, architecture, and best practices in design patterns.
- Excel as a team player by valuing diverse perspectives and managing expectations across cross-functional groups.
- Mentor other engineers and lead them in complex, cross-functional projects.
- Communicate effectively to define technical solutions aligned with business objectives and provide clear progress updates.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of industry experience with Go development.
- Familiarity using TypeScript and Go for building and maintaining cloud microservices.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs, focusing on secure, scalable, fault-tolerant services.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar), automating testing, deployment, and scaling.
- Experience in an Agile environment, with ability to lead sprint planning, break down large initiatives, and align team efforts with business objectives.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of diagnosing complex issues and implementing effective solutions.
Nice to Have
- A deep understanding of security best practices, especially in Windows environments (securing APIs, handling sensitive data, managing authentication/authorization like OAuth, JWT).
- Experience delivering robust, cross-platform friendly applications.
