Affirm is hiring a Software Engineer, Early Career to join our hybrid program designed for recent graduates. You'll be a key contributor on a team, working to reinvent credit to make it more honest and friendly. This role is based in our Chicago office.

What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Mastery of translating a simple problem into a solution that interacts with multiple software components.
- Ability to execute by writing clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
- Comfort navigating a large code base, debugging others' code, and providing feedback through reviews.
- Demonstrated ownership of your growth by proactively seeking feedback.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with a global team.
Team & Environment
You will be paired with a tenured Affirmer in our hybrid early career program, collaborating in-person from the Chicago office 3 days a week.

- Compensation: USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $130,000 - $170,000. USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $115,000 - $155,000. + equity (Grade 5).
Work Mode
This is a hybrid role requiring in-office collaboration in Chicago, Illinois, United States 3 days a week.
