Backstroke Logo is looking for a Software Engineer to build and ship production features for our AI-powered email marketing platform. You'll work alongside a small engineering team to deliver end-to-end features, iterate based on user feedback, and move at startup speed.
What You'll Do
- Ship full-stack features end-to-end, owning features from idea to production.
- Build with AI assistance using tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code.
- Move fast and iterate, optimizing for learning loops over perfect first releases.
- Own your work, being responsible for quality, performance, and user experience.
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience building and shipping software.
- Full-stack capabilities or strong interest in learning.
- AI-first development mindset with experience using AI coding tools.
- Startup DNA: scrappy, comfortable with ambiguity, figures things out.
- Product-minded approach, caring about users and making smart trade-offs.

- Bonus points for built side projects, open source contributions, or a portfolio.
