Oden Technologies is hiring a Software Engineer (Backend – Core Data)

Oden Technologies is looking for a Software Engineer (Backend – Core Data) to design, build, and deploy software at scale, transforming how manufacturers utilize their data. In this role, you'll join the Core Data team, responsible for building our foundational data platform, tooling, and infrastructure to deliver reliable and performant service, including support for Oden's AI models and LLM features.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and deploy software at scale to transform how manufacturers use data.
• Work closely with business, product, data science, and fellow engineers to design and plan new features.
• Prioritize with intention, focusing only on what matters.
• Build foundational data platform, tooling, and infrastructure for reliable and performant service at scale.
• Support Oden's AI models and LLM features with the right data backend and infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency with one or more backend-focused programming language, such as Golang, Java, C++, Python, Rust, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with data storage and processing systems in cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment with engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• AI-forward mindset. You’ve worked with AI systems (training, evaluation, deployment) or built products that leverage AI capabilities, and you understand both the potential and practical considerations of integrating AI into backend systems.
