Agilent Technologies is hiring a Software Engineer – Automation Dev to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering features crucial to revenue growth, designing and developing automation routines, and contributing to full-stack development and automation velocity.
What You'll Do
- Work with a team of engineers to deliver a feature set crucial to revenue growth.
- Design and develop comprehensive scripts and automation routines.
- Contribute to the velocity of the team during full-stack development and automation.
- Work on the delivery of end-to-end eCommerce workflows.
- Automate test data creation for testing.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand product features and technical specifications to create effective test plans and strategies.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve them.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in QA and automation development.
- Programming skills in Python, Django, JavaScript, React, Java, Velocity, and Oracle/SQL.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
- Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative perspective.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Code AI tools to gain productivity in coding (e.g., Copilot, Windsurf).
- Ability to work in a distributed team environment.
- Good written and spoken communications skills.
