CloudPay Espana S.L. is hiring a Software Engineer to help define, build, maintain, and enhance the customer experience on the CloudPay platform. You will work closely with a diverse, global team to deliver impactful solutions using proven software development expertise and a customer-focused mindset.

What You'll Do

Analyze requirements and technical design, implementing new capabilities within the platform.
Provide technical support for existing functionalities in production environment.
Uphold code standards and best practices through code reviews, refactoring efforts, and peer mentoring.
Engage in the identification and remediation of issues related to code quality, functionality, or other problems.
Document new or updated functionality as released.
Participate actively in all aspects of the agile process and ceremonies to deliver usable functionality.

What We're Looking For

Strong proficiency in Java 17 and the Spring (Boot) framework.
Experience with frontend frameworks like Angular, Vue, or React.
Comfortable working with relational databases such as MySQL.
Familiarity with development and deployment tools including Maven, Bamboo, Git, JIRA, and Bitbucket.
Skilled in application performance tuning.
Excellent logical thinking, analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
Adaptability, and ability to thrive under tight deadlines and fast-paced release schedules.

Nice to Have

Proven experience working within Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and pair programming practices.
Commitment to clean code principles and best practices.
Background or interest in Payroll, HR, or financial domains.
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and growing technical expertise.
