NTT DATA is hiring a Software Development Director to spearhead our cloud and AI transformation initiatives. In this role, you will have end-to-end ownership of AWS cloud deployment deliverables, including architecture governance, execution oversight, solution assurance, and operational readiness. You will lead the deployment of Agentic AI solutions and AWS Process-to-Agent (P2A) transformations for our enterprise clients.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end AWS Process-to-Agent (P2A) transformation programs.
- Own the overall AWS deployment strategy, execution governance, and delivery assurance.
- Define cloud architecture blueprints, standards, and reference frameworks.
- Oversee environment setup, landing zones, networking, IAM, security, and compliance controls.
- Ensure seamless integration between platform, applications, data, and AI components.
- Drive migration, modernization, and cloud-native transformation initiatives.
- Review and approve solution architectures before deployment.
- Ensure high availability, resilience, scalability, and cost optimization across deployments.
- Establish DevSecOps and CI/CD best practices across teams.
- Oversee release management, production rollout, and hypercare stabilization.
- Lead deployment of Agentic AI solutions on AWS infrastructure.
- Architect and oversee implementation of multi-agent systems, RAG-based architectures, autonomous reasoning workflows, and LLM-powered enterprise solutions.
- Ensure secure and scalable deployment of AI models using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and EKS.
- Oversee vector database integration and AI memory systems.
- Implement AI observability, guardrails, monitoring, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure responsible AI practices, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive performance optimization and production hardening of AI workloads.
- Own overall AWS deployment deliverables across programs.
- Provide technical leadership to architects, DevOps, AI engineers, and platform teams.
- Establish deployment governance, risk management, and quality checkpoints.
- Conduct architecture reviews and technical audits.
- Ensure SLA, SLO, and performance commitments are met.
- Drive proactive issue resolution and risk mitigation.
- Present deployment status and risk assessments to senior leadership and clients.
- Engage with client executives, CTOs, and business leaders.
- Translate business objectives into cloud and AI deployment strategies.
- Lead design workshops and executive architecture discussions.
- Provide clear communication of technical roadmaps, risks, and deployment milestones.
- Mentor senior architects and delivery leaders.
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of overall IT experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on AWS experience in enterprise environments.
- Proven experience leading large-scale AWS production deployments.
- Strong expertise in AWS core services: EC2, S3, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, IAM, KMS, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Lambda, API Gateway, EKS/ECS/Kubernetes, CloudWatch, CloudTrail.
- Strong experience designing AWS Landing Zones.
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps frameworks.
- Experience designing high-availability and disaster recovery architectures.
- Experience with cost optimization and FinOps governance.
- Hands-on experience deploying LLM-based enterprise solutions.
- Experience with Agentic AI architectures (planning agents, reasoning agents, tool usage).
- Implementation of RAG frameworks, multi-agent orchestration, and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, OpenSearch, pgvector).
- Experience with AWS Bedrock and SageMaker for model hosting.
- Understanding of embeddings, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation.
- Production deployment of AI systems with monitoring and guardrails.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI/GenAI deployments.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale AWS production rollouts.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 12 to 15 years of relevant experience.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification (Professional preferred).
