Join SAP Software Solutions as a Software Developer Intern within the SAP Internship Experience Program (iXp). You'll be part of the SAP SuccessFactors Learning team, building business applications and technology that help the world run better. This role offers hands-on experience designing and developing software while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and enhance software by understanding requirements, implementing features, writing automated tests, and resolving issues.
- Embrace lean and agile software development principles by participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate and innovate with Product, Design, and other engineering teams to deliver a seamless, consistent experience for millions of users.
- Gain experience working with Generative AI, Foundation Models, and LLMs.
- Grow in leadership, presentation, and other soft skills.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s degree program in Computer Science or Engineering at an accredited institution.
- Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, OOP, design patterns, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Groovy, or Bash.
- Knowledge of backend services (REST APIs, Microservices) and frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Understanding of at least one relational database system such as SAP Hana, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or DB2.
- DevOps mindset – inherent sense of ownership through the development and deployment lifecycle.
- Familiarity with UI technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment working with multiple teams across various geographies.
- Willingness to “go the extra mile” to ensure the highest quality of experience for our customers.
- Extremely strong passion for technology and software craftsmanship.
