Brambles Holdings (UK) Limited is looking for a Software Developer to join BXB Digital. You will work on our next-generation, IoT-enabled digital supply chain platform. As a mobile developer, you will create and maintain hybrid mobile applications that run seamlessly across Android and iOS, collaborating closely with application, platform, and UX teams.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain hybrid mobile applications using Cordova for Android and iOS platforms.
- Optimize application performance for a smooth user experience and ensure responsiveness.
- Collaborate with designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Integrate and customize Cordova plugins to add functionality and features to the mobile apps.
- Ensure that the apps function seamlessly on various devices and screen sizes.
- Manage code repositories and version control systems, such as Git.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues.
- Continuously monitor app performance, conduct regular assessments, and implement improvements.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive code documentation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality applications on time.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of coding experience in one or more of: Java/Kotlin, Objective C/Swift, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular or React) and CSS pre-processing frameworks (Sass or Less).
- Proven experience in mobile app development, specifically using Cordova.
- Understanding of cross-platform development challenges and solutions.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Nice to Have
- Strength in UI Development.
- Some exposure to native iOS and Android development.
