IDEMIA is seeking a Software Developer AI to enhance our AI capabilities. In this role, you will improve an on-premise RAG-based AI system by analyzing its architecture, testing new models, and optimizing semantic search to deliver more relevant responses. What You'll Do
- Study and understand the current architecture of the RAG pipeline, including data ingestion, indexing, retrieval, and generation.
- Test and compare different open-source embedding models and LLMs to improve search and response quality.
- Experiment with various information retrieval strategies, such as vector search, hybrid search, and reranking.
- Analyze system performance—including response relevance, latency, and GPU consumption—and propose improvements.
What We're Looking For
- You are currently studying in an engineering program or equivalent.
- You have development skills in Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS, along with basic knowledge of Linux.
- You possess strong communication skills and can be clear and concise.
- You are curious and willing to work autonomously.
