Facilities Management Express (FMX) is hiring a Software Developer 2 to join one of our core roadmap teams. In this full-stack role, you will improve and enhance the FMX web application by writing and testing code, defining solutions that meet user needs, and collaborating with the broader Product and Engineering organization.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the FMX web application by implementing new features, refining existing functionality, and continuously improving code quality.
- Work closely with designers and the product team to ensure solutions solve user challenges.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and leverage emerging technologies, including libraries, tools, and AI-driven solutions.
- Identify and address technical debt for long-term stability.
- Diagnose and resolve application issues by analyzing logs, metrics, and user reports to find root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Have opportunities to work on things that matter to you, from improving tools and processes to exploring new technologies or solving application pain points.
What We're Looking For
- At least two years as a software engineer, building robust solutions.
- Expertise in .NET, C#, JavaScript, and React frameworks.
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting application issues.
- A working knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Some level of comfort with SQL.
