What You'll Do

With guidance and support, complete well-designed systems of high quality that make appropriate use of technology.
Develop personal plans and task details for work completion and status communication.
Maintain currency in technological trends and directions; continually upgrade personal, technical, and IT related skills.
Participate in and contribute to the investigation of new technology and recommendations for adoption.
Take ownership of significant components of software development projects under the guidance of a lead or manager.
Provide operational support for existing systems with a view to optimizing and automating processes.
Collaborate with business partners to understand use cases and propose technical solutions.
Utilize Software Development and Data Engineering best practices to drive business process optimization.

What We're Looking For

Some business understanding of Capital Markets, particularly portfolio management and capital allocation.
Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
Strong knowledge of current information systems theories, concepts, and techniques.
Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with non-technical end users.
A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
Knowledge of data modelling for transactional and reporting/data analytics systems.
Experience building and testing ETL processes and Data Pipelines.
Experience with the following technologies: Python, C#, SQL, MS Power BI, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake.
Experience with Web Development frameworks (React, Angular).
Practical experience with Continuous Delivery tools and practices (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins).
Experience in various software development methodologies and agile practices; Test Automation, Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery.
Experience with Azure Cloud Services, particularly Azure Compute Services (AKS, Container App Services).
Experience with Container technologies (ex. Docker) and deployment best practices.

Nice to Have

Experience working with Financial data providers (ex. Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv).
Experience utilizing AI tools and solutions to optimize development and delivery processes.

Base Salary starting at $100,300 to $107,200 with future opportunity of up to $116,400.
