Genki is hiring a Social Media Manager & Content Creator (Digital Nomad) to build and manage our social media presence from the ground up. As the first full-time social hire at our fast-growing, fully remote startup, you will create authentic content and engage directly with the global digital nomad community.
What You'll Do
- Create authentic, trend-driven content across platforms like Instagram and TikTok, plus static images and text.
- Be comfortable on-camera representing the Genki brand when needed.
- Jump on trends and viral moments quickly.
- Mix educational content about insurance for nomads with lifestyle content the community loves.
- Attend occasional nomad events for content creation and networking.
- Actively participate in nomad Facebook groups, Discord servers, Reddit communities, and other online spaces.
- Monitor conversations about Genki and the broader nomad health and insurance space.
- Engage authentically with the community.
- Find and connect with influencers and UGC creators in the nomad space.
- Build genuine relationships with other content creators.
- Leverage your existing nomad network for partnerships and collaborations.
What We're Looking For
- A proven track record on social media, with demonstrable content you've created that performed well.
- You are a digital nomad and connected to the community.
- Naturally active on social media, understanding memes, platform-specific strategies, and how to feed algorithms.
- Creative mindset with a desire for the freedom to build something from scratch.
- Comfortable being on camera and representing our brand.
- Excellent English writing and speaking ability.
- Experience with basic content creation tools like CapCut and Canva.
- Detail-oriented, with an ability to give accurate information about insurance.

- A strong existing network in the nomad community.
- Existing connections with other nomad creators, influencers, and community leaders.
