Paired is looking for a Social Media Community Specialist to build and nurture a vibrant online community for our client's brand. In this remote role, you will enhance customer interaction, drive conversions, and build lasting relationships through thoughtful engagement and strategic conversation management.
What You'll Do
- Respond to inbound DMs promptly and professionally, following a structured conversation flow.
- Qualify leads by understanding needs, budget, urgency, and fit.
- Drive conversions by guiding conversations toward the next step, such as booking a call, collecting information, or completing a purchase.
- Handle objections confidently regarding price, timing, or hesitation while keeping the tone aligned with the brand.
- Reply to comments strategically to boost engagement and move qualified people into DMs.
- Execute posting tasks for content that is already planned and scheduled.
- Maintain a natural and consistent brand voice across all interactions.
- Track and follow up using Instagram tools, spreadsheets, or a CRM to ensure no conversations are dropped.
- Share simple performance updates on response time, volume, qualified leads, conversions, and audience insights.
- Escalate sensitive or complex issues to the team when needed.
What We're Looking For
- 1–2+ years of experience handling Instagram or social DMs for a brand in sales, customer support, community, or appointment setting.
- Excellent written English with a natural, conversational tone that can match and adapt to a brand voice.
- A conversion mindset: comfortable qualifying leads, following a script, and moving people toward a clear next step.
- Strong organization and follow-up habits using labels, notes, and tracking systems.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to remain calm under pressure when handling objections or difficult messages.
- Fast response time and consistency to manage high DM volume daily and meet response SLAs.
- Full-time availability with a reliable schedule aligned with business time zones, including peak engagement windows.
- A strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism regarding customer privacy and brand reputation.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with tools like Instagram labels, Meta Business Suite, Google Sheets, Airtable, and ManyChat or similar DM automation.
- Basic content execution skills: posting scheduled content, light community management, and comment engagement.
