Paired is looking for a Social Media and Content Creator to take full ownership of our social media presence and content strategy for a gaming peripherals brand. This US-based remote role involves leading a creative team, driving brand growth, and deeply engaging with the gaming community.
What You'll Do
- Own and manage all social accounts, posting a minimum of once daily on all platforms except YouTube (2+ times per week).
- Develop and execute a multi-platform content strategy optimized for reach, engagement, retention, and conversions.
- Self-generate agile content (raw, meme-style, trend-based) while also leading the production of professional pieces.
- Lead the creative team (photographer, cinematographer, graphic designer) to produce diverse content tailored to each platform.
- Maintain a balanced content mix including memes, product demos, reviews, tutorials, gaming tips, influencer collaborations, and interactive content.
- Ensure brand voice consistency, authenticity, and cultural relevance across all channels.
- Respond to all public replies across social media promptly.
- Lead brand presence and engagement on Discord, Reddit, and gaming forums.
- Organize creative community events, polls, challenges, and tournaments to drive retention and loyalty.
- Develop community programs to convert followers into brand advocates.
- Identify, manage, and lead outreach for influencer partnerships and sponsored content.
- Coordinate influencer campaigns around product launches and key brand moments.
- Oversee affiliate program growth, recruit new affiliates, and nurture relationships (earn 1–3% lifetime earnings of affiliates you sign).
- Produce or oversee SEO-optimized blog content for the brand website and external sites.
- Stream on the brand's Twitch account to engage the community (15% commission + customer coupon code structure applies).
- Build cross-platform strategies to maximize the impact of each channel.
- Ideate and execute social-first campaigns for new product launches, limited editions, collaboration drops, and brand initiatives.
- Coordinate with marketing, product, and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and hype-building.
- Provide regular reporting on KPIs, insights, and strategic recommendations.

- Strong understanding of what drives engagement, virality, and brand affinity.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in a youthful, authentic tone.
- Experience managing social media for a consumer brand, ideally within gaming or tech.
- Ability to coordinate with a creative team while also generating content yourself.
- Strong organizational habits and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives.
