Aragon is hiring a Smart Contract Engineer to build and maintain the smart contracts that form the foundation of the Aragon protocol. You will play a key role in developing secure and reliable on-chain infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and test secure smart contracts for the Aragon protocol.
- Maintain and upgrade existing protocol contracts.
- Write comprehensive documentation for smart contract functionality.
- Collaborate with engineering and research teams on protocol upgrades.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience writing and deploying production smart contracts in Solidity.
- Deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine, security patterns, and gas optimization.
- Experience with smart contract development tools (Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle).
- Ability to write clean, well-documented, and tested code.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for a remote environment.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be based in Europe for time zone alignment.
