About the Role

Baptist Health is looking for a Sleep Technician to join our team at Baptist Medical Center South. You will perform comprehensive polysomnographic studies and analyze data to compile reports for physician review, working under the general supervision of our clinical leaders.

What You'll Do

  • Perform a wide variety of polysomnographic studies.
  • Analyze data, score polysomnograms, and compile data into a report for physician review.

What We're Looking For

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • BLS certification.
  • Willingness to enroll in the A-STEP online self study program within two weeks of hire and complete it within the given AASM deadline.

Nice to Have

  • At least one prior year of direct contact patient care.
  • Experience in EEG, LPN, EMT, Respiratory Therapy, or previous sleep work.
  • Proficiency in the principles of polysomnography and electroencephalography.
  • ACLS certification.

Team & Environment

You will work under the general supervision of the Manager and Lead Technologist.

This is an onsite position at Baptist Medical Center South.
