Apria Healthcare LLC is hiring a Sleep Supply Specialist to provide excellent customer service and product information in a patient-centric environment. In this remote role, you will handle inbound and outbound sales and service calls, process orders, and educate patients on sleep therapy while collaborating with field teams to improve patient experiences.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound and outbound sales and service calls.
- Identify patient needs, clarify information, and arrange for ongoing supply deliveries.
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within specific timeframes.
- Confirm patient eligibility and medical information accuracy for order fulfillment.
- Accurately process orders, returns, or corrections using complex systems.
- Communicate patient and insurance billing processes and financial responsibilities.
- Collect payments or arrange payment plans.
- Verify order status and relay tracking information.
- Schedule RT Refits and Phone Visits for patients.
- Educate patients on the value of sleep therapy and the resupply program.
- Upsell patients on items that will improve their sleep therapy experience.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of current marketing promotions.
- Expedite the resolution of patient problems and complaints.
- Accurately document patient accounts to capture comments and concerns.
- Frequently attend training to improve knowledge and performance.
- Offer ideas and identify opportunities that enhance business growth.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- 6 months to one year of inside sales and/or customer service experience.
- Previous healthcare experience.
- Experience with various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, Medicare).
- Intermediate skills in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, Word.
- English proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication.
- Basic level mathematical proficiency.
- Ability to work remotely in a distraction-free environment.
- Required to be in a home office or workspace during scheduled work hours.

- Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.
