RemoteVA PH is looking for a Site Safety Drafter to create accurate and compliant site safety plans in accordance with the New York City Building Code. This role involves drafting plans, conducting site assessments, and collaborating with project teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Develop detailed site safety plans that comply with NYC Building Code and Local Law 81 of 2017.
- Interpret and apply site safety supervision requirements for construction projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and safety managers to ensure compliance with city regulations.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to draft site safety plans, including fire safety, emergency exits, and hazard mitigation.
- Conduct site assessments to identify potential safety risks and propose solutions.
- Maintain documentation and records for regulatory compliance and project approvals.
- Stay updated on NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) regulations and industry best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in drafting site safety plans for construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of NYC Building Code, Local Law 81, and site safety supervision requirements.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with project teams and regulatory agencies.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
