Jobgether is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)/Automation Specialist who is passionate about automation, CI/CD, and system reliability. In this role, you will strengthen engineering operations by driving robust processes across the full software development lifecycle to ensure scalability, compliance, and performance.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform engineering teams.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks to enhance efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
- Develop scripts, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates, and workflow automations aligned with SDLC standards.
- Integrate observability tools, dashboards, and metrics for performance tracking and continuous improvement.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and anomaly detection mechanisms within pipelines.
- Collaborate with SDLC architects and Agile project managers to ensure seamless deployment processes.
- Contribute to security enablement through policy-as-code and embedded compliance guardrails.
What We're Looking For
- US citizenship and ability to complete a comprehensive background check (including fingerprinting and drug testing).
- At least 5 years of experience in site reliability, automation, or DevOps engineering.
- Proficiency with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and cloud monitoring tools.
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience with configuration management.
- Knowledge of FedRAMP/NIST security frameworks and CI/CD telemetry integration.
Nice to Have
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification or equivalent experience.
