Moniepoint is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our mission-critical financial infrastructure. You will design and implement systems that support millions of transactions daily, with a focus on automation, monitoring, and incident response.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems for our financial infrastructure.
Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.
Develop automation tools and processes for deployment, configuration, and incident response to reduce manual toil.
Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response, including post-mortem analysis and remediation.
Collaborate with development teams to improve system architecture, performance, and reliability from design through deployment.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role in a high-traffic environment.
Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Ruby) for automation and tooling.
Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

Nice to Have

Experience in the fintech, payments, or banking sector handling sensitive financial data.
Knowledge of database administration and performance tuning (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis).
Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards in financial services.
