Wärtsilä is hiring a Site Manager to lead complex site operations and contribute to building a more sustainable future. You will oversee the mobilization, execution, and completion of projects at customer sites, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of our energy storage solutions.
What You'll Do
- Prepare site mobilization and execution plans.
- Manage site administration, organization, and resource planning.
- Advise on installation activities and coordinate execution schedules.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and HSSE policies.
- Conduct site inductions for all personnel.
- Organize and lead site meetings.
- Establish and maintain effective site reporting practices.
- Monitor work progress and collect accurate reports.
- Promote cost-effective and efficient construction practices.
- Manage site budgets and control costs.
- Participate in subcontracting and local procurement activities.
- Ensure quality control and minimize risks throughout site execution.
- Oversee site demobilization and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Lead the final handover of the project to the customer.
