JELD-WEN Holding, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Receiving Associate to join our team. In this role, you will load and unload merchandise, receive goods while checking quantity and quality, and help keep our shipping and receiving areas organized. This position requires a license to operate a powered forklift and a commitment to our core value of investing in people.
What You'll Do
- Load and unload merchandise using designated equipment, including a powered forklift.
- Receive special orders and stock replacement, checking vendor packing slips and shipping documents against purchase orders for accuracy.
- Count freight and merchandise to satisfy freight bills and research any shipment discrepancies.
- Follow procedures for shipping, receiving, and transferring merchandise.
- Maintain lift equipment and shipping/receiving areas, including clearing pallets and boxes.
- Move freight from receiving to designated staging areas and communicate with the Shipping Team.
- Provide additional help in Packaging, Slab Door, and Moulding departments as required.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and possible early evenings.
- Strong attention to detail, a “can do” attitude, and a firm commitment to safety.
- Physical fitness and willingness to assist with manual lifting when needed.
- Excellent communication, customer service, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience operating a forklift.
- Previous experience loading curtain side trailers.
