Shamrock Trading Corporation is hiring a Director, Quality to lead quality efforts across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for the quality strategy and execution for software products supporting key business units, collaborating to define core objectives and mentor the QA team.

What You'll Do

Provide leadership and mentoring to the quality assurance team, including both manual and automated testing.
Be responsible for the overall quality assurance platform design.
Serve as an expert in all aspects of software quality assurance and the software testing life cycle.
Define and scale a modern QA strategy and roadmap that aligns with an Agile and continuous delivery environment.
Build and maintain team culture across local and remote employees.
Be an expert in the products developed by the development team and have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
Prototype or plan POCs justifying new technologies.
Actively lead the team in investigating and innovating modern technology solutions to solve business problems.
Perform technical project management for multiple complex QA projects.
Lead and organize QA Intake initiatives with the team across all Shamrock Technology.
Consult on complex projects as a top-level contributor/specialist.
Estimate and recommend project resource allocations to upper management.
Delegate resources and coordinate testing responsibilities across multiple complex projects within many products.
Oversee reporting to demonstrate the value of the QA team and identify bottlenecks in the testing process.
Lead monthly summary meetings with senior stakeholders to communicate progress and align strategic priorities.
Consult with end users to test and debug applications to meet client needs.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
6+ years experience of software development and deployment of distributed multi-tier applications.
5+ years of QA leadership experience with emphasis on automated testing.
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment – where change is the only constant.
Detailed oriented to ensure that project success is paramount.
Strong verbal and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and an out-of-the-box thinker.
Self-starter with the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.
Ability to disagree yet align when dealing with different stakeholders.
Results-oriented with a strong customer focus.
Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience managing QA systems development in new computing architectures and environments.
Strong in both breadth and depth of experience with multiple programming languages and development techniques.
