As a Server Platform Development Manager, you will guide engineering teams through the full development cycle of advanced server and storage solutions, with a focus on AI-driven enterprise technologies. In this role, you will act as the central link between platform engineering and key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment from initial concept to final release.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent platform engineering within the Core Team, collaborating closely with Program Management, Product Operations, Quality, Service, and Supply Chain functions
- Apply deep technical and business understanding to shape strategic direction and improve project performance
- Coordinate engineering efforts across multiple disciplines, fostering collaboration and timely execution
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with vendors and external technology partners
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet schedule, quality, and budget objectives
- Advance solution maturity and release readiness by applying consistent best practices across business units
Qualifications
Candidates should bring 12 to 15 years of professional engineering or product development experience, with proven ability in technical leadership and cross-functional team coordination. Strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and negotiation capabilities are essential. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
