The Server Platform Development Manager will lead platform development for AI enterprise systems across Server and Storage at Dell Technologies. This role involves managing the full product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation and excellence in complex AI product development.
What You'll Do
- Represent platform engineering in the Core Team
- Collaborate with value chain including Program Manager, Product Management, Product Operation, Quality, Service and Supply Chain
- Apply strong business insights to drive strategic decisions and optimize project outcomes to meet customer needs
- Oversee and coordinate development efforts across diverse engineering teams
- Ensure seamless collaboration and delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and technical partners
- Ensure alignment and success with vendors and technical partners
- Lead and drive Engineering development to meet program schedule and quality goal within budget target
- Drive solution and release readiness with a closed-loop focus on best practices across portfolios and business units
What We're Looking For
- 12 to 15 years of related experience in a professional role
- Excellent knowledge and application of engineering concepts along with effective problem-solving ability
- Solid understanding of business environment and competition
- Ability to manage, motivate and direct a cross functional workgroup
- Drive successful negotiations
- Solid interpersonal and presentation skills
