Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test frameworks for scalable applications
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle
- Develop comprehensive test plans for new and existing features
- Execute manual and automated test cases across multiple environments
- Analyze system behavior under various conditions to uncover edge cases
- Monitor production systems for regressions and quality degradation
- Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines
- Evaluate software requirements for testability and completeness
- Lead quality assurance efforts during sprint planning and reviews
- Document test results and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Maintain and optimize existing test suites for performance and coverage
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex software issues
- Advocate for quality best practices across engineering teams
- Participate in code reviews with a focus on testability and reliability
- Support release cycles with readiness assessments and risk analysis
- Work closely with product teams to understand feature specifications
- Ensure compliance with defined quality metrics and standards
- Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and coverage
- Mentor junior engineers in quality assurance techniques
- Stay current with evolving testing tools and methodologies
