Responsibilities
- Engage in quarterly and annual strategic planning with sales leadership.
- Convey corporate strategy to team members across the Alpine region.
- Oversee sales pipeline development, forecasting, and customer relationship growth.
- Define short- and long-term performance goals, KPIs, and quotas aligned with regional and company targets.
- Assess and secure necessary resources to advance regional sales objectives.
- Recognize and evaluate high-value sales opportunities at executive levels.
- Serve as a coach, mentor, and trainer for Regional Sales Managers.
- Recruit, guide, and assess sales personnel to meet performance goals.
- Keep executive leadership updated on critical developments affecting business outcomes.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience, industry knowledge, and professional network in the Alpine market, particularly in technology.
- Proven track record in frontline sales leadership and people management.
- Strong skills in building relationships and negotiating at the executive level.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, Systems Engineering, Services, Customer Support, and Product Development.
- Prior success as a Regional Sales Director consistently exceeding sales targets in the Alpine region.
- Experience applying target account selling, solution selling, or consultative selling methods.
- Ability to grasp how technology products address business challenges.
- Proven collaboration with sales and technical teams.
- Experience managing and developing professional staff.
- Capable of cultivating a positive and productive team culture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies and market competitors is beneficial.
- Fluency in French, written and spoken.
