About the Role
The engineer will support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of containerized applications using Kubernetes, contributing to platform stability and automation across the software lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters for development and production environments
- Implement infrastructure as code using configuration management tools
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in real time
- Ensure high availability and scalability of cloud-native services
- Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance
- Enforce security policies across containerized environments
- Manage container networking and storage configurations
- Support incident response and root cause analysis
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure and operational procedures
- Integrate logging and monitoring solutions for observability
- Optimize resource utilization in Kubernetes environments
- Apply updates and patches to cluster components
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards
- Participate in on-call rotations for production support
- Evaluate and implement new DevOps tools and technologies
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution
- Work with cloud providers to manage infrastructure services
- Streamline configuration management across environments
- Promote best practices in DevOps and platform engineering
