As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will lead the design and evolution of a cloud-native AI platform with a strong focus on Azure. Your work will center on building secure, scalable, and automated foundations that support cutting-edge AI capabilities while meeting strict compliance and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and refine the target architecture for a public-cloud-first AI platform, with Azure as the primary environment
- Explore alternative deployment models to meet high-security requirements for public sector clients
- Establish secure and compliant cloud foundations, including landing zones, identity management, networking, encryption, secrets handling, logging, and policy-as-code implementation
- Design for automation and scale using infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, self-service provisioning, and operational runbooks
- Ensure platform reliability through observability, service-level objectives, incident analysis, performance tuning, and cost optimization (FinOps)
- Create integration patterns for AI products, covering APIs, event-driven processing, data pipelines, and multi-tenancy
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers on MLOps and LLMOps, including model deployment pipelines, feature stores, evaluation frameworks, and monitoring
- Advance security and Trustworthy AI practices in coordination with privacy, security, and product teams, ensuring GDPR compliance and data residency controls
- Support pre-sales activities and mentor architects and engineers across product teams
Qualifications
You bring 8–10+ years of experience in solution or service architecture within complex product environments. You have deep expertise in public cloud platforms, particularly Azure services such as AKS, Container Apps, Functions, App Service, API Management, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Storage, SQL/Cosmos DB, Key Vault, and Entra ID.
- Proven experience with automation tools like Terraform or Bicep, and CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps or GitHub
- Strong background in security architecture: threat modeling, zero trust, network segmentation, secrets management, vulnerability management, and audit readiness
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms, including Azure ML or MLflow, model serving, data pipelines, and LLM integration patterns
- Ability to translate business needs into practical, secure, and maintainable technical solutions
- Clear communication skills for engaging with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Skills
- Experience with high-security deployment scenarios and regulated environments
- Familiarity with generative AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, including content filtering, prompt injection defenses, red teaming, and evaluation frameworks
- Knowledge of data engineering technologies: Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, data streaming, and vector/search databases
- Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Security Engineer

This role operates in a hybrid setup with team locations in Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Espoo. The work model is flexible, supporting remote collaboration while enabling in-person engagement when needed.
