Responsibilities
- Conducts transmission settlements analysis and billing processes.
- Analyzes Settlement Quality meter data.
- Manages and reviews the impact of Open Access Transmission Tariff and departmental business practices.
- Prepares and completes FERC and regulatory reporting.
- Ensures adherence to FERC/NERC procedures.
- Develops and prepares complex ad hoc reporting and data analysis.
- Serves as a customer interface and liaison, ensuring customer compliance with business requirements.
- Participates in ongoing system and process improvement and automation efforts.
- Provides accounting interpretations and recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborates with accounting and financial departments as needed.
- Manages CAISO Western Energy Imbalance Market settlement quality meter data.
- Reviews and updates reported meter data for accuracy and quality.
- Submits required settlement quality meter data to the market operator at specified intervals.
- Works with Meter and Operations staff to maintain reported meter data accuracy.
- Supports EIM Settlements and Transmission Billing as needed.
- Collaborates with internal and external IT professionals to develop new features and ensure software tool accuracy.
