Porch Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to own the planning, execution, and delivery of security initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring our security objectives, key initiatives, and cross-business unit risk assessments are achieved predictably, on time, and within scope.
What You'll Do
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Translate technical requirements into actionable project plans and understand how system dependencies affect project outcomes.
- Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues to minimize project impact.
- Coordinate internal resources and cross-business unit teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Ensure technical deliverables meet defined requirements, compliance, and performance standards.
- Drive consistency in project management practices and identify opportunities to optimize delivery efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience managing technical or Security projects within a fast-paced environment.
- A can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
- Ability to connect and build positive relationships across diverse teams and business units.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
- Proven experience working with US-based business teams.
- Excellent written and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work within core US business hours / time zone expectations, with an Eastern Standard Time overlap.
- A quiet workspace and a reliable internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload.
Nice to Have
- Experience with project management tools like Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, or Trello.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with modern development practices (CI/CD, DevOps, cloud platforms).
- PMP, CAPM, or Agile certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe).
- Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Familiarity with Security frameworks (e.g., CIS, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2).

You will collaborate across functional teams such as IT, DevOps, and Software Engineering, as well as work across various business units.

- Annual compensation range: 1,575,000 - 2,205,000 INR.
