NVIDIA is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager, EDA Chip Infrastructure to lead the strategy and execution of programs supporting the bringup, operations, and modernization of the infrastructure for our Hardware EDA ecosystem. This role guides engineering roadmaps for high-quality outcomes and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Engage with cross-company partners to shape technical strategy, build programs, and coordinate execution to meet key business objectives for scaling bringups.
- Nurture a culture of continuous improvement across tooling, automation, and processes to scale cluster operations and management.
- Guide a diverse set of engineering efforts using an agile program methodology across planning, prioritization, design, dependency management, implementation, and execution.
- Bring a data-first approach using metrics, OKRs, and KPIs to measure program success and identify areas for improvement.
- Create effective communication channels to provide insights into program status, risks, and opportunities for varying audience levels.
- Act as a technical and non-technical liaison between developers, customers, and partners to drive alignment across a multi-functional matrixed set of leads.
What We're Looking For
- B.S. (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 12+ years of proven experience across software or hardware engineering and/or technical program management roles.
- Prior experience in infrastructure software, production application software development, and large scale distributed computing.
- Experience handling large scale EDA infrastructure with various CPU/GPU architectures.
- Extensive understanding of semiconductor design and manufacturing processes and associated EDA tools and flows.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong multitasking abilities with a focus on thoroughness and rapid context switching.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and best-in-class project management tools.
- Proactive and enthusiastic in identifying and implementing positive changes in software engineering and release management within a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Deep experience with Infrastructure cluster buildouts and NPI hardware evaluation.
- Engaged experience in modernizing EDA Infrastructure solutions and capabilities to provide a Platform as a Product offering.
- Prior experience migrating platforms and solutions from on prem to cloud.
- Software development, release and support methodology and devops.
