We seek a Senior Technical Product Manager to guide our team's journey in establishing Kotlin as the most AI-compatible language, focusing on high-demand use cases and developing the most efficient, cost-effective solutions. This role transcends mere tool development; it's about inspiring ecosystem evolution. You will lead research and experimental initiatives that enhance Kotlin's presence in AI-driven workflows, ensuring its continued prominence in multiplatform and multitarget development. Numerous challenges await—ensuring frontier models generate idiomatic Kotlin, establishing benchmark presence, optimizing code dataset volumes, integrating with agentic tools, constructing model comparison protocols, and evaluating how emerging language features impact code generation quality. In this role, you will: - Identify benchmark use cases - Develop evaluation systems for critical use cases and business metrics - Lead continuous experimentation to improve generated Kotlin quality - Manage prioritization for benchmarks, evaluations, and solution development - Collaborate with Kotlin Core teams to transform prototypes into high-quality solutions - Engage with external partners - Generate internal and external visibility through technical communications We're seeking someone who: - Possesses software development experience - Understands backend and frontend development lifecycle - Knows CI/CD and AI/ML evaluation infrastructure - Has 5+ years technical product management experience in AI or complex technical domains - Demonstrates hands-on product metrics development - Comfortable with coding, command-line, and version control - Leads through direct technology engagement - Communicates persuasively across technical and executive levels We'd be especially excited by candidates with: - Experience creating model comparison protocol servers and LLM benchmarks - Hands-on Kotlin development experience - Computer science or machine learning academic background #LI-DNI
