SRG Global Mining Services is seeking a Senior Sustainability Advisor to play a central role in the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of Transgrid’s Group sustainability program.
You will embed sustainability principles into decision making, uplift capability, drive key projects, and enhance reporting maturity. This position offers genuine enterprise visibility and impact.
What You'll Do
- Support the evolution and delivery of the Group Sustainability Strategy, translating priorities and metrics into clear actions and measurable outcomes.
- Partner with Business Units to scope, plan, and implement sustainability initiatives that enhance performance and address emerging risks.
- Lead sustainability-focused projects, developing plans, managing budgets and schedules, and reporting progress using corporate tools.
- Prepare inputs for key disclosures including the Annual Sustainability Report, external ratings, and internal performance updates.
- Review sustainability data, improve collection processes, and develop automated reporting to generate insights and strengthen reporting quality.
- Work with Communications teams to deliver consistent and engaging sustainability messaging internally and externally.
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization, providing specialist advice and building capability for an enterprise-wide approach.
What We're Looking For
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Sustainability, Environment, ESG, Strategy, Business, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience delivering sustainability outcomes within complex organizations.
- Strong project management capability and confidence engaging diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Understanding of key sustainability frameworks such as GRI, GRESB, SBTi, or ASRS.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation, reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships.
- A commitment to integrity, safety, inclusion, and ethical practice.
