About the Job As a Backend Software Engineer at Realize, you will construct scalable, robust infrastructure and backend services powering our healthcare AI platform. You'll lead defining best practices surrounding infrastructure, security, continuous integration/deployment pipelines, and cloud hosting strategies. As one of our earliest engineering recruits, you'll have substantial ownership in shaping technical architecture and engineering culture. You'll collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure our platform remains secure, performant, reliable, and expandable. While your primary focus is backend and infrastructure, our team is compact—engineers are empowered to work across technological domains when necessary to comprehensively own a feature. Realize is headquartered in New York City, where part of our engineering team works in-person.
