Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server versions 2016 and later in live production settings
- Create and sustain database solutions using stored procedures, views, SSIS packages, SQL Agent jobs, and replication for reporting and system integration
- Implement and monitor high availability and disaster recovery strategies
- Perform regular backup operations and ensure data recovery readiness
- Optimize database performance through tuning and monitoring
- Respond to database incidents and fulfill service requests promptly

Responsibilities
- Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server (2016+) in production environments
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server–based solutions, including stored procedures, views, SSIS packages, SQL Agent jobs, and replication to support reporting, integrations, and data consistency across environments
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, backups, and performance optimization
- Handle incidents and service requests
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, dev and security teams
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and SOPs
