Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional, full sales life cycle technical activities for Cloudflare customers.
- Lead and manage a team of geographically distributed Solutions Engineers in the Western US.
- Partner with the Western Sales team and Customer Success teams.
- Provide the value of Cloudflare products to customers and prospects.
- Work with Sales to grow the account base.
- Drive best practices within cross-functional organizations.
- Implement and scale organizational and operational excellence.
- Present technical and business-related subjects to all audiences effectively.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or another related field or its equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience with internet technologies / protocols and / or cloud technologies.
- Experience managing opportunity sales cycles and identifying technical proof activities.
- Demonstrated operations and organization skills implementation and driving best practices with cross functional organizations.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proven track record of successfully building collaboration around important initiatives.
- Successful track record of working and influencing matrixed organizations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical and business related subjects to all audiences.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, drive for results, interpersonal savvy, and customer focus.

- Backgrounds in financial consulting, engineering, software development, product management, customer support, or project delivery.
